Questions we get asked a lot.
The questions buyers ask us most while evaluating the platform. Missing yours? Get in touch.
Platform and rollout
Which operating systems can be monitored?
The agent covers Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016 and later, every currently supported macOS release, and the major Linux distributions - Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, Rocky and Alma. Switches, routers, printers, UPS units and other manageable network gear connect through SNMP.
How fast is a typical rollout?
Teams managing 100 to 500 endpoints usually finish the same day. Larger multi-tenant rollouts take one to two staged weeks. Annual plans include a senior onboarding engineer for migration at no charge.
Will the agent slow down end-user machines?
No. It runs as a low-priority system service, typically under 1% CPU on modern hardware with a memory footprint in the low tens of megabytes. There are no kernel hooks and no browser add-ons.
Does the console need a specific browser?
Any modern browser works - Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari - with no plug-ins required. A native Windows and macOS app is available for technicians who prefer one.
Plans and billing
Do you charge a setup fee?
No. Setup, licensing and onboarding ship with every plan, and annual customers get a senior onboarding engineer for migration at no extra cost.
Can we change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately with prorated billing; downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes - moving from monthly to annual cuts 20% off every plan and locks your rate for twelve months.
How do you count endpoints?
Any device under monitoring: workstations, servers and supported network hardware. Mobile devices and SNMP-only checks bill under separate, lower-cost SKUs.
What payment methods are available?
Major credit cards through Stripe, ACH transfers, and purchase orders for annual contracts above 100 endpoints. Professional and Enterprise plans can be invoiced.
Security and data protection
Where does my data live?
In US-based cloud infrastructure with multi-region redundancy. Enterprise customers can pin data to a specific region or request dedicated database options.
How is data protected?
Agent-to-cloud traffic travels over TLS 1.3; data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Customer-held keys are available on Enterprise plans.
Do you support MFA and SSO?
MFA is mandatory for every account on every plan. SSO through Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace or Okta comes with Professional and Enterprise.
Can you complete our security questionnaire?
Gladly - CAIQ, SIG-Lite or your own template, handled during procurement. Send it over through the contact form.
Integrations and API
Is there a public API?
Yes. A documented REST API and outbound webhooks are part of every plan. Wire them into PSAs, BI tools, custom dashboards or chat platforms.
Which chat tools do you integrate with?
Slack and Microsoft Teams have first-class support: alert routing, on-call rotations and approval flows. Anything else can connect through webhooks.
Can we get our data out?
Always. CSV export lives in the console, and the API provides full programmatic access on every plan.
Support and uptime
Where does support sit?
Entirely in the US - we do not outsource first-line support or customer success.
What are support hours?
Essential plans get email and chat during US business hours; Professional and Enterprise add 24/7 coverage with phone access for production-down events.
What SLA do you commit to?
99.9% monthly uptime as standard, with service credits for any breach. Enterprise agreements can include custom SLAs and dedicated infrastructure.
